Bark Book: Adoptable! Schooner at National Mill Dog Rescue

I'm at it again!

I love to photograph these pets that are looking for their forever homes! I get to know them and their past and show the world where they are now. Ready and waiting for their happy ending. With the holidays fast approaching, I hope they all find warm and happy homes. They each more than deserve it!

Today's special boy is Schooner

Though small in stature, he is big in curiousity! He even took a trip into my camera bag searching for treats.  He also tried to play with my squeaky toy and squeaked it himself, which proved to be a bit much for him right now :)

Schooner is 9 years young and thought to be a Jack Russell/Mini Italian Greyhound mix. He was rescued from a puppy mill by National Mill Dog Rescue. He has been gaining confidence every day with his foster family. He loves to cuddle and walks well on leash (and harness.) He likes other dogs and adores kids. Go for joyrides? He's the perfect passenger!

He may have half an ear but he has twice the heart! He may also only have 4 teeth but that doesn't stop him from loving his treats.

Schooner's ideal home would be one with him and maybe a dog-sibling or two. A home with older children and a mom and dad to show him how great life can be for this sweet boy!

Schooner is up to date on shots, neutered and has had dental.

In love already? Please contact National Mill Dog Rescue for more info on how to adopt Schooner.
