Meet my friend Benny!
This handsome boy is 9-10 years old but still loving life! He is currently living in the Springs with his foster brother, also named Benny!
I was told that Benny is dog-friendly but due to his recent eye surgery, slow introductions are best.
Benny was more than happy to explore the playground for his photo op and even climbed right up on some rocks for me! This boy has an adventurous heart and just loves being loved.

What the rescue says:
Hi, I’m Benny and I’m the best good boy About 9 years old, I love naps, walks, and hiking! I get along with other dogs but require a slow introduction. I am potty trained and crate trained, though don’t need to be crated. If left out while you’re away I won’t get into anything I shouldn’t! Very low maintenance, just a daily walk will tire me out.
I have recently undergone entropion surgery on my eyes (this just means my eyelashes were scratching my cornea, creating a layer film causing loss of vision so the surgery has solved this issue) and I can see much better now!
I’ve also successfully completed my heart-worm treatment and am so ready to find my furever home and family. I don’t always do the best at events but please give me a chance outside of that stressful environment and I will show you what a love bug I am!
I would do best in a single family home as I am part pittie!
